I am a compassionate advocate who skilfully navigates complex emotions and legal issues to protect the things that matter most to clients.
I help resolve issues about parenting, separation of property, spouse maintenance and child support.
Since being admitted to practice law in Western Australia in 2020, I have practised almost exclusively in family law, an area I find engaging and meaningful; I’m also undertaking further studies in a Master of Laws (Applied Family Law).
Before joining the legal profession, in 2004 I obtained a Bachelor Commerce at Curtin University, majoring in Marketing & Advertising. My experience in professional communications roles provides a great foundation for legal practice - effective communication ensures everyone is ‘on the same page’ which is so important when dealing with complex legal issues.
Family law is important because it deals with very personal and emotional issues that go to the core of people’s lives – relationships, parenting, children, property, and financial support. Family law requires a unique blend of legal skill and emotional sensitivity to achieve outcomes that prioritise fairness and well-being for clients and families.
