I am an experienced commercial lawyer practising principally in the areas of property, leasing, mining, local government, business structures and franchising.
I provide strategic commercial advice in respect of relevant legislation and the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts across a wide range of general commercial matters. I build strong relationships and am thorough and committed in my approach. My careful eye for detail results in my clients achieving their commercial objectives.
I previously worked as a Senior Associate in the Energy & Resources division of a number of international law firms including Simmons & Simmons in London and Clayton Utz in both Perth and Sydney and provided advice to clients in Australia and Europe on joint ventures, mining law, the acquisition of wind farms, renewable energy, oil and gas, the acquisition of businesses and general commercial matters. I have substantial previous experience working in leadership, procurement/contract management and property roles within local government.
I have also worked as the legal manager for a major mining company, providing legal advice to the Senior Management group and across all departments.
I hold a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Australia and have commenced completing a Master of Business Administration with Southern Cross University.
I assist clients to mitigate risks in commercial transactions by providing clear, well-developed and structured contracts and valuable advice during commercial negotiations. Lisa is adept at drafting and structuring contracts and her dedication and attention to detail assists clients in the negotiation of contracts, navigating legislative requirements and avoiding costly disputes.
