The role of an Estate Executor or Administrator is one of the most profound and moving responsibilities to undertake.

There are significant financial and legal responsibilities that must be undertaken to disseminate and wind up the estate in accordance with the law and any legal documents authorised by the deceased which, pending whether or not a legal and binding Will is available, is processed by obtaining authority from the Supreme Court to act as the Executor by one of two methods, Probate or Letters of Administration.

We assist in:

  • Preparation of submission applications for both Probate and Letters of Administration.

  • General administration to wind up simple financial affairs including bank accounts, superannuation funds with binding death benefit nominations, finalising outstanding bills and beneficiary distributions.

  • Complex administration including share sales, property sales, businesses, life interests, testamentary trusts and superannuation funds without or with lapsed binding death benefit nominations.
