Murray Tennent-Brown – Lawyer
I have had exposure to a broad-range of legal issues. These include drafting commercial leases, dealing with mortgages and caveats, advising and acting in commercial debt recovery actions and disputes, providing representation and advice in relation to restraining orders, family law matters, driving charges and extraordinary licences, providing advice in disputes about the sale of residential property as well as advising in relation to franchising and commercial contracts.
I spent my early working life in property and building maintenance, then as a sales and service technician in the rural sector, before becoming a small business owner. This range of experience means that I understand the need for practical, timely solutions. I then went back to university as a mature-age student in my 30’s, completing my law degree and post-graduate studies whilst working for the Department of Corrective Services.
This broadened my experience even further and gave me first-hand experience in dealing with the often complex issues behind the pointy end of the criminal justice system. As a result, I understand that life isn’t always ‘fair’ and that on occasion bad things happen to good people. I have also travelled extensively, am actively involved in local sport and my local community, and gain enjoyment from being able to help others, be it by lending a hand or an ear.
If you’re looking for direct, straight to the point advice from someone who genuinely puts your best interests at the forefront of everything, you should give me a call. I am result focused and will generate a cost effective outcome for you – without cutting corners. In my opinion if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
